Developing Effective Lesson Plans

We know what learning objectives we want our students to achieve, but how do we help students achieve them? Thoughtful lesson planning is an essential component of effective instruction. In this workshop, we will discuss how to plan lessons that integrate principles of student engagement, procedures, and assessments in order to help all students achieve desired learning outcomes. This session will be followed by an information follow up session on April 9 to discuss your implementation of the principles presented. Light refreshments will be served.
