Welcome to another session of UFO sighting reports. There have been a large number of reports recently, mostly from the United States, and that is where we will stay this week.

There is a so-called UFO hotspot in Scotland. For many years, the area near and around Bonnybridge has been the location of many UFO sighting reports, photos, and video. With all of the recent Great Britain sightings, headed by the wind farm incident, it takes something pretty extraordinary to get noticed, but a recent video from Banknock, Scotland, has that distinction, according to STV TV.

Known only as "Neil," the eyewitness and videographer told the news and media agency:

“I had sneaked off to my loft for a cigarette, thinking I wouldn’t get caught. I looked out the skylight and I saw what I thought was a bright star, but it was very bright and orangey in colour.

“So I watched it, and then I saw another one. I thought that was an aircraft, but there were no navigation lights or anything.

“Then I saw another one on the horizon rising towards it, and that’s when I realised I was looking at something very unusual and I started shouting at my wife, ‘get me the camera, get me the camera’.

“By that time the other two had disappeared. I got the camera and put the camera on it and that’s what you see in the video.”

In the last month, there have been four or five very compelling reports of UFOs over New Jersey. Almost all of the reports have been of multiple objects. One of the best documented reports comes to us from a veteran airplane pilot.

Pilot Paul Hurley caught with his video camera a formation of lights which were hovering over his backyard in Whippany. He told a Fox news reporter:

"A little scary. We didn't really know what they were. They were very bright red lights,"

Hurley said. "I've been in the aviation industry for about 20 years, so I knew they weren't airplanes."

Here is something a little off the beaten path, yet very interesting. I received a report, along with photos, from an about.com reader about a photographic experiment that resulted in a shot of a UFO. He has been taking photographs for over 40 years.

The man was involved in a street lamp project that was inspired by a book, "The Orb Project," by Miceal Ledwith and Klaus Heinneman.
