Junction City Awarded USDA Funding - Chapman Home Rebuilding To Benefit From USDA Program

Over 100 family members and community leaders from Greensburg, Kiowa County, and USDA Rural Development joined for a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the first ten (10) new homes to be constructed under the Agency-supported Greensburg Community Self-Help Housing Program.
Wamego Project Announced - Affordable Senior Housing To Be Built
Homestead Senior Residences Wamego will consist of 32 affordable senior rental units, consisting of one and two bedroom apartments. The total cost of the senior rental housing facility will be approximately $5.2 million. USDA Rural Development’s funding will be leveraged by financing from Kansas Housing Resources Corporation, FHLBank of Topeka, and the developer fee.
