An up-start eco-village and sustainability project, The Baan Thai Project is aiming to be a joyful example of sustainable living in Northern Thailand. Located about 50km north or Chaing Mai, we are inviting all who are interested to come help us build, play, learn, sing and dance our way into a more wonderful existance.

We are currently practicing Natural Building, Adobe and "wattle and daub", permaculture, organic farming, and community living. Trying to live an integrated lifestyle that brings more joy and fulfillment to those involved as well as makes our world a better place to be.

Our community also is an education center in that we host Permaculture Design Courses, Natural building Courses, have Internships available, and are visited by primary schools to learn about sustainability and natural living.
