Three S's to shed extra holiday pounds

The big S (which would be Santa) has been gone for at least a couple of weeks already. So, if holiday decorations are still hanging around, now is the time to box them up and pack them away for next year. What's the payoff? Multiple trips to the attic or basement lugging heavy boxes burns a whole lot of calories!

Enlist the help of the remaining two S's (which would be soups and salads) to box up and pack away any holiday pounds still hanging around. Start your meal with a small cup of low calorie, broth-based soup, and you'll eat less of everything else that's offered. The same holds true for salads consumed as a first course. Just go very easy on high calorie dressings. It's such an effortless way to feel full and totally satisfied on very few calories, you won't even know you're dieting.
