Secretary Snow To Visit Cleveland, Ohio Next Week
To Meet with Local Business and Discuss the Economy

Ohio born U.S. Treasury Secretary John W. Snow will visit Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday, July 13 to meet with a local business and discuss the President's efforts to strengthen the economy and create jobs.

"As a result of the President's economic policies, more than 1.5 million new U.S. jobs have been created since August 2003, including nearly 1.3 million that were created this year," said Secretary Snow.  "Ohio has gained more than 30,000 new jobs so far this year."

"The President's jobs and growth policies have ensured that more than 4.4 million Ohio taxpayers will have lower income tax bills in 2004," he said.

During the Secretary's visit to the Cleveland area, he will tour Nanofilm, a local hi-tech company that is growing and expanding as a result of the strengthening economy.
