Change Management: NEXRAD

The National Weather Service (NWS) Change Management Section is responsible for the continuing development and administration of the configuration change control process for the WSR-88D system, also known as NEXRAD. The WSR-88D program is made up of the Department of Commerce (DOC), Department of Defense (DOD), and the Department of Transportation (DOT). Therefore, the disposition of proposed configuration changes requires a review by each individual agency, as well as a tri-agency Configuration Control Board (CCB).
