The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 was enacted on January 8, 2002, and some of its provisions are already in effect. To implement this Act, the Department is publishing regulatory notices in the Federal Register and issuing program guidance. This information is generally available on the OESE Legislation, Regulations and Guidance web page. For your convenience, we are also making available, below, regulations and guidance that apply to programs still being implemented under the Improving America's Schools Act (IASA).
