Proposals
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) uses Trns•port’s
Proposal and Estimates System (PES) to manage the
pre-letting (pre-bidding) phase of the construction program.
PES can import data directly from the Cost Estimation System (CES) to prepare the final estimate for construction projects. It will also be used by
NJDOT estimation reviewers to prepare standard reports, proposal forms and other documents for a bid letting package.
The electronic bid letting package produced in PES will then be available to contractors using the
Expedite software to prepare and submit bids over
the Internet.
