AIR FORCE

CH2Mhill, Englewood, Colo., is being awarded a $1,100,000,000 indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract. This contractor will be the second of 30 participating in a program to provide professional architect-engineer services in support of locations worldwide. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. The Air Force can issue delivery orders on the basis of fair opportunities to any of the participating contractors totaling up the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. The CH2Mhill Co. will perform this effort in Englewood Colo and other locations worldwide. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by September 2011. The solicitation began in December 2002 and negotiations were completed in February 2003. The Headquarters 311th Human Systems Wing, Brooks City-Base, Texas is the contracting activity (F41624-03-D-8595).

URS Group Inc. San Antonio is being awarded a $1,100,000,000 indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract. This contractor will be the third of thirty participating in a program to provide professional architect-engineer (A&E) services to perform preliminary environmental assessment through remedial design and other A&E services in support of locations worldwide. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. The Air Force can issue delivery orders on the basis of fair opportunities to any of the participating contractors totaling up the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. The URS Group Inc. will perform this effort in San Antonio and other locations worldwide. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by September 2011. Solicitation began in December 2002 and negotiations were in completed February 2003. The Headquarters Air Force Center For Environmental Excellence, Brooks City-Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41624-03-D8609).

General Dynamics, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $16,775,243 firm-fixed-price, labor hour contract modification to provide for services and materials necessary for on-site preventive and remedial for the maintenance and the intelligence information processing and production equipment and enhancements. Work accomplished at more than 500 sites worldwide. At this time, $8,186,660 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be completed by March 2003. The Headquarters Warner Robins Air Logistics Center is the contract activity (F09603-97-D-0008-6102-09).

ITT Gilfillan Defense and Electronics, Van Nuys, Calif., is being awarded a $14,931,175 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for three ground control approach radar-2000 systems, installation, flight check and certification and three years of extended warranty options. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by April 2004. The solicitation began in November 2002 and negotiations were completed in January 2003. The Headquarters Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-03-C-0010).

Lockheed Martin Way, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $6,726,351 cost-plus award-fee contract modification. This effort exercises an option, Flight 6 launch delay options, that funds continued contractor support for the launch of Milstar Flight 6. Coverage is needed as a result of launch slid resulting from a problem with Titan IVB and Centaur Booster. Flight 6 is the last satellite in the Milstar constellation to be launched. Flight 1, 2, 4, and 5 are in orbit to provide protected communications for the DoD. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by April 2004. The Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base is the contracting activity (F04701-92-C-0049, P00338).

Thomas Scientific*, Swedesboro, N.J., is being awarded a $12,500,000 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment and indefinite-delivery and quantity type of contract for selection of a distributor for the aboratory integrated delivery system program which covers the 48 contiguous states (including the District of Columbia), Alaska and Hawaii for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. This contract is exercising its fourth option period. Performance completion is expected to be September 30, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Work will also be performed in Massachusetts, Illinois, New York, Texas, Delaware, New Mexico, California, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, Washington, Georgia, Maryland and Puerto Rico. NAVY

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $17,431,669 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-96-C-2108) for new efforts on USS Jimmy Carter to accommodate advanced technology for naval special warfare, tactical surveillance, and mine warfare operations. Work will be performed in Groton (95 percent) and Quonset Point, R.I. (5 percent), and is to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity.
