On Oct. 24, the Iraqi National Guard and multinational forces from 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), detained two people wanted for anti-Iraqi activities and collected a variety of weapons and munitions during a cordon and search in northern Iraq, officials said.

During the operation in the Mosul neighborhood of Tal Al Ruman, soldiers detained two people, including a terrorist cell leader with known terrorist links.

No injuries were reported during the operation, and the suspects were in custody.

Also, two Iraqi civilians came to soldiers of 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, in Mosul and turned in a cache of weapons that consisted of two 60 mm artillery rounds and three 120 mm tank rounds. Soldiers secured the rounds for their future destruction, according to officials.
