NAVY

Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems (NE&SS), Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $130,000,000 cost-plus-incentive-fee letter contract for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development Phase II of the AN/WLD-1(V)1 Remote Minehunting System (RMS) Program. The AN/WLD-1(V)1 RMS consists of a high-endurance, remotely controlled, off-board, low-observable, semi-submersible vehicle that will be used for mine reconnaissance to provide fleet combatants with the capability to detect and classify bottom and moored contacts. Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y. (42%); Riviera Beach, Fla. (43%); Kanata, Ontario (3%); Portsmouth, R.I. (3%); Greenlawn, N.Y. (2%); Rochester, N.Y. (2%); and Iron Mountain, Mich. (5%), and is expected to be completed by September 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-02-C-6309).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,874,471 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-97-C-0147) to exercise an option for fiscal year 2002 integrated logistics support for the E-2C aircraft. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

RAM Laboratories, Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $5,595,198 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide research, development, test, analysis, and assessment in several broad areas of C4ISR simulation, with a focus on research and development into next generation simulation architectures, support of collaborative simulation, improvements of simulation performance, and C4ISR model development and implementation. This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $15,181,931. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through a Broad Agency Announcement (No. N66001-99-X-6906) posted in the Commerce Business Daily. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-02-D-6005).

ARMY

Johnson Outdoors Inc., Binghamton, N.Y., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $5,845,242 as part of a $49,056,424 (cumulative total) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity firm-fixed-price contract for 827 modular general purpose tent systems. Work will be performed in Binghamton, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 21, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 65 bids solicited on Aug. 5, 1997, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Soldier Biological Chemical Command, Natick, Mass., is the contracting activity (DAAK60-97-D-9310).

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control - Dallas, Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a $110,442,978 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAH01-00-C-0109 for definitized upgrades to the Multiple Launch Rocket System M270A1 Low Rate Initial Production V, including related spares and logistics support. Upgrades are for 41 U.S. systems and 10 Republic of Korea systems. Logistics support includes training, Red River Army Depot support and interim contractor support. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas (25%), and East Camden, Ariz. (75%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bindley Western Inc., Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded a $12,800,301 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery quantity contract for pharmaceutical items. This award covers the fifth option year with four option years remaining. Work will be performed in Middletown, Pa. Peformance completion date is expected to be Dec. 26, 2002. There were 74 proposals solicited, and four responded. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-D7019).

Allegiance Healthcare Corp., McGaw Park, Ill., is being awarded an $8,203,125 fixed-price with economic price adjustment indefinite quantity indefinite delivery contract for selection of a distributor for the Laboratory Integrated Delivery System Program which covers the 48 contiguous states (including the District of Columbia), Alaska and Hawaii. This action represents the execution of the third option period available. Performance completion date is expected to be Dec. 31, 2002.
