AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $1,115,000,000 (not-to-exceed) cost-plus-award-fee time and materials contract to provide for reliability enhancement and reengining, systems development and demonstration in support of the C-5 aircraft. At this time, $15,000,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete June 2008. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-02-C-2000).

NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $13,412,056 modification to a previously awarded fixed-price contract (N00019-01-C-0024) to exercise an option for services associated with the Special Progressive Aircraft Rework for the VH-3D and VH-60 executive helicopters. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed in September 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $13,412,056 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Atlantico Inc.*, Yorktown, Va.; Sun Bay Contracting Inc.*, Virginia Beach, Va.; Tesoro Corp.*, Virginia Beach, Va.; THR Enterprises Inc.*, Norfolk, Va.; and TMS Envirocon Inc.*, Virginia Beach, Va., are each being awarded a maximum amount of $5,000,000/guaranteed minimum of $100,000 (base period) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award construction contract. The total contract amount is not to exceed $20,000,000 (base period and three option years). The aggregate of $20,000,000 will potentially be shared among all five contractors. The work to be performed provides for new construction, renovation, alteration and repairs for construction projects in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Work will be performed in Oceana, Va. (35%); Norfolk, Va. (35%); Yorktown, Va. (10%); Portsmouth, Va. (10%); and Little Creek, Va. (10%), and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 40 proposals solicited and 11 offers received. These five contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va. is the contracting activity (N62470-01-D-1083/1084/1085/1086/1087).
