On March 30 - April 15, 2007, in commemoration of the 2007 National Cherry Blossom Festival, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), will sell a specially created intaglio print card depicting the BEP tree-lined facade on the Tidal Basin. Visitors can view the card being printed on a 19th Century Spider Press at the BEP Visitors Center during designated demonstration times. Also on display in the Visitor Center is an exhibit entitled, The Loveliest of Trees, featuring various images of Washington's famed cherry trees, including photographs, artwork, and engravings used for United States postage stamps and BEP-printed souvenir cards.
