National Influenza Vaccination Week:
Free Web site buttons, banners, and badges: add to your
site today!
CDC is supporting organizations across the country in their vaccination efforts during National Influenza Vaccination Week, December 8-14, 2008. There are podcasts, ecards and other e-health activities to support this effort. You can help in promoting the ongoing seasonal flu efforts by placing these graphics on your web pages.
This year, Tuesday, December 9th, is designated as Children's Vaccination Day. Thursday, December 11th, is designated as Seniors' vaccination Day, and Friday, December 13th, will focus on vaccination of health care workers. Please help emphasize the importance of vaccinating these special populations with awareness activities.
The message is "Don't get the flu. Don't spread the flu. Get Vaccinated." The graphic can be placed in any way that works best for your particular site. We are hoping to see this graphic on as many of our partner sites as possible in the weeks leading up to NIVW, beginning November 5th. If possible, we'd like to see the graphics stay up past immunization week and through the holidays.
