Hospital Finance and Charity Care

This office administers the New Jersey Hospital Care Payment Assistance Program (Charity Care) for people who are uninsured and underinsured. Staff are available to the public and to hospital staff members with questions about the charity care program, its implementation, and interpretation of program regulations and policy. This office oversees the annual hospital subsidy - distribution, calculation and source data - including electronic claims processing, audits and reports.
