NSP offers community service activities to all minimum security inmates. The facility also houses the Security Threat Group Management Unit, which provides therapeutic treatment to inmates affiliated with gangs, both in and out of prison, that threaten the security of the institution. The Bureau of State Use Industries/DEPTCOR operates bedding and clothing shops at the facility.
