$531,546 JERSEY CASH 5 TICKET SOLD IN OCEAN COUNTY
TRENTON, NJ – (January 13, 2009) – A winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $531,546 was sold at Mr. T's Family Deli, located at 81 Cassville Road in Jackson, Ocean County for the Monday, January 12 drawing.
Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain said the winning ticket was the only one sold for Monday's drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 01, 13, 25, 29 and 37.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Mr. T's Family Deli ,” said Jourdain. “For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, they have become yet another ‘lucky location' for a very fortunate winner.”
Jourdain also noted that 5 ,163 other players won $136,703 in cash prizes in the Monday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 131 players won cash prizes of $621.00 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 5,032 players won $11.00 each.
Jersey Cash 5 is among the Lottery's more popular games with an average jackpot of $300,000. Sales from Jersey Cash 5 last year were just under $126 million.
