Included in the CD Package
In addition to the software program, the CanVis package comes with a training CD (with over 20 video lessons) and a comprehensive visual simulation guide developed by the USDA National Agroforestry Center. Details on these components can be obtained here.

Guidance Document
The NOAA Coastal Services Center’s Using CanVis for Visualizations (PDF file, 5.53MB) guidance document includes a basic introduction to creating visual simulations and selecting locations. It also provides illustrated step-by-step instructions on using CanVis tools and creating visualizations with your own imagery.

Past Presentations
This component includes past CanVis presentations delivered at various venues. Includes introductory materials and examples. Customized for each audience. These are provided in PDF format for easy download.
