Age-Adjusted Rates of Overweight (including Obesity) per 100 Adults with Diabetes, United States, 1994-2004

Between 1994 and 2004, there were unfavorable upward trends in age-adjusted rates of overweight or obese. In this time period, the age-adjusted rate of overweight or obese increased by 13 percentage points, from 69.7% to 82.7%.

As the detailed tables show, levels of overweight or obese increased most among persons with diabetes aged 18-44 years.
