GIS Search Tips, Tricks and Hints
Search Tips
Look for a phrase.
Example - type in California Metadata to find sites with California and Metadata.
Since the search is not case-sensitive, this is equivalent to california metadata.
Look for two or more words at once.
Example - type in National Data to find sites with both national and data.
Look for synonyms or similar words. At this time a Boolean search is not operational on the site, therefore the use of 'and', 'or' and 'not' should be avoided.
