Meet the Officers

Pawan Rastogi — Chair

Pawan Rastogi graduated from Columbia University with his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Pre-Medicine. Pawan was a summer student in 2007 and returned to LANL in January 2008 after graduating a semester early. He is currently working at the Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies (CINT) as a Post-Baccalaureate student, researching synthesis methods of lanthanide doped nanoparticles. On the whole, Pawan enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, and mountain biking.

Katie Wurden — Vice Chair

Katie has a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning and minors in Environmental Chemistry and German Studies from the University of California, San Diego. She is currently working for the LANL Water Stewardship Program while deciding what the next move will be. Having grown up in Los Alamos, Katie spends her free time skiing, running, and hiking all around the Jemez and local canyon trails and scoping out new places to eat chile.

Krista Wilde — Secretary

Krista Wilde grew up in Roswell, NM and graduated from New Mexico State University in 2006 with a BA in Communication Studies and minors in Management and Business Computer Systems. She has worked as a student at the Lab since her graduation. Currently, she is a GRA in the Research Library and is working on her MS in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas.
