Programmatic Time Limits
Undergrad Program: Length of participation in this program is limited to a maximum of six years for students pursuing a bachelor's degree and three years for students pursuing an associate's degree.
Graduate Program: Length of participation is limited as follows:

Students may remain in the GRA program for up to three months after receiving their Ph.D.
Work Schedules
Year-Round Students
Students that intern on a year-round basis are limited to 75 percent work time during the
academic year. Exceptions to the work time requirement can be submitted through the Student Exception Process here. Students participating in the Electro
Mechanical Technician Training Program, Materials Science Technician Program,
Machinist Apprenticeship Program, CFO and SUP MBA program, post-baccalaureate
appointments, post-master's appointments, and GRA students working on a thesis or
dissertation are excluded from the 30-hour per week work restriction.
Summer Students
All students are eligible to work full-time, 40 hours a week during the summer months.
In addition, students are not required to be enrolled in courses over the summer.
9/80 Work Schedule
Summer students, post baccalaureate, post masters, and GRA students working on a
thesis or dissertation are eligible to participate in the 9/80 work schedule. The student
must have permission from the mentor to work this schedule, and it must be submitted
through the payroll system.

Eligibility Requirements
- Provide documentation of acceptance into an undergraduate academic program,
- Enroll in and successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester in an accredited college or university degree program, and
- Initially have and maintain a cumulative 2.8/4.0 GPA
