INCIDENT INFORMATION

One
of the major responsibilities of the
Forest Service is to provide firefighting
resources to protect our public lands
and adjacent communities. The Sierra
National Forest has about 200 firefighters
who are employed on hot shot crews, fire
engines, helicopters, air tankers, and
fire lookouts.
FIRE PREVENTION
If you own a home or a vacation rental
in the foothills or Sierra Nevada Mountains
you can take steps to ensure you structure
is fire safe.
SMOKEY BEAR
For over 50 years Smokey Bear has been
sharing his fire prevention message with
us. Smokey has lots of information and
things for children to do.
