Keep Your Personal Information Safe

The VA is committed to keeping your personal identifying information safe.  There may be times you are given healthcare information by your provider while you are at the VA Medical Center.  This includes medication profiles, arm bands for hospitalized patients or any document that has your name on it.  Do NOT throw anything with identifying information in the VA trash as that is not a secure way of protecting your private information.   If you do not wish to have this information, please return it to the clerk or a medical center employee and ask that they shred this personal information.  Please help us make sure your personal information stays secure.
