What are you worth? Volunteers are an invaluable resource for the Department of Veterans Affairs. It is impossible to calculate the amount of caring and sharing that VAVS volunteers provide to veteran patients. VAVS volunteers are a priceless asset to the Nation's veterans and to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Blankets Donated for Veterans
Mrs. Hicks (R) of Burbank, California dropped off fifteen hand made afghan blankets to the hospitalized residents of the Sepulveda Nursing Home Care Unit to start the 2008 Christmas Holiday.
