Health Services Research Post-Doctoral Fellowship

Candidates are sought for a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in health services research. The fellowship will provide training and research opportunities for recent PhDs in health services research, management or similar fields. The program is designed to develop and enhance skills in carrying out health services research with a specific focus on topics in health care organization, leadership and management. Fellows participate in research at COLMR and develop individual projects. The annual stipend is $43,000 plus health insurance benefits and is renewable for a second year. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Submit statement of research objectives, C.V. and names of 3 references by January 30. One or two positions are available each October 1.

Physician Post-Residency Fellowship in Health Services Research

The Center for Organization, Leadership and Management Research (COLMR) at the Boston VA Health System is accepting applications for a 2-year post-residency fellowship in Health Services Research. The fellowship will provide funding, multi-disciplinary training and research opportunities for a psychiatrist or other physician to develop skills in health services research with a focus on quality of care, organizational and management issues. The fellowship will include 75% protected time for research and education with 25% clinical time in a VA clinical setting. The fellowship program draws upon the rich interdisciplinary environment of COLMR, which includes researchers trained in medicine, psychiatry, psychology, organizational theory, management science, quality assessment and improvement, psychometrics and operations management. Methodological training includes opportunity to obtain M.S. in Health Services Research. Multiple positions available beginning on October 1 annually.
