Free parking is available to all patients of VAMC Huntington.
Patients and visitors may park in the parking garage or other designated parking areas.
Handicapped Parking
Handicapped parking is available in the parking garage and in designated slots near the front of the medical center.
Alternative Transportation
TTA Bus Transportation
The VAMC Huntington is located on the TTA bus line. The TTA bus stop and bus schedules are located in the front of the medical center.
DAV Transportation Program
The VAMC offers free transportation to veterans through the DAV Transportation Program. Volunteer drivers assist patients who have no other means of transportation to and from their appointments at the medical center outpatient clinics. A two day notice is needed to arrange DAV transportation. For more information about transportation assistance, contact the DAV Transportation Coordinator at 304-429-6741, extension 2979.
Security
VAMC Huntington Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 5595. In case of an emergency, dial 2855. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
