Locations
VAMC Huntington serves veterans from the Tri-State area including counties in western West Virginia, southern Ohio, and eastern Kentucky. In addition to our main medical center in Huntington, we offer a number of services to our patients in two VA staffed outpatient clinics in Charleston and Prestonsburg, and two contract outpatient clinics in Logan and Williamson.
Waiting Areas
For your convenience and safety, we have special waiting areas throughout the facility. Please do not gather in the hallways or at the nurses' stations. You may also want to review our Visiting Hours and Policies.
Security
VAMC Huntington has a Police Service. Our officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 2855. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
Because the VA Medical Center is federal property, all persons and bags are subject to search. In addition, no weapons, alcohol, or illegal drugs are permitted.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located at the Switchboard Operator's office, room 1C101 on the first floor near the old main entrance to the medical center. You may also contact them at extension 0.
