Maps
Visitor maps for each national
forest and grassland provide information on attractions, facilities,
services, and opportunities. Check out the box to the right for
map orders.
The Shoshone is covered by two
maps. The North Half includes the Absaroka Mountains, a portion
of the Beartooth Mountains, the North Absaroka Wilderness and the
Washakie Wilderness. The South Half includes a portion of
the Absaroka Mountains, the Wind River Mountains, the Fitzpatrick
Wilderness and PoPo Agie Wilderness. Click on the map thumbnail
below to view the forest and our map division.
Topographic maps provide the
greatest level of detail and cover small portions of a forest or
grassland. These maps are available to purchase from the U.S.
Geological Survey.
