On Monday, April 30, 2007, members of the U.S. Marshals Service Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team (DFAT) arrested Lonzo Lenear after receiving a lead from the U.S. Marshals Service Mid South Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF). Lenear had been living in the Detroit, MI area for over five years and was arrested at a Harbor Woods, MI Nursing Home where Lenear was employed as a Dietician.

On November 11, 1999 a warrant was issued for Lonzo Lenear in Shelby County, Tennessee charging Lenear with Rape of a Child.
