Acknowledgements

I wish to express my gratitude to Stephen Ficca, F. Anthony Clifford, and George Williams for their continued support. I am also grateful to W. Emmett Barkley, Melvin First, Cherie Fisk, J. R. "Mike" Harrison, Louis DiBerardinis, Osman Ahmed, David Tatchell, and William B. Booth for their generous advice and assistance throughout the development of the project.

I would like to express my appreciation to members of my team; Mark Seymour, Paul Rose, Robin Bornoff, and Jonathan Leppard for their hard work and dedication to this project. I would like to extend a special thanks to Mark Seymour for bringing his extensive experience in numerical analysis to this project. Mr. Seymour was most helpful in writing analysis software to interpret the over 170 million points of data generated using computational fluid dynamics for this research.

Also, I am grateful to all who participated in the Progress Meetings for their valuable inputs.

To single out any other of the multitude of scientists, engineers and specialists who have influenced me and contributed to my understanding would be unjust, but I would like to make this a collective acknowledgment of their valued contributions.

Farhad Memarzadeh
Principal Investigator
