Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)The EFMP is a mandatory enrollment program for family members of an
active duty soldier with any medical, educational, or learning
disability that requires special medical treatment, education, or
counseling. The Army will consider the special needs of enrolled
exceptional family members during the assignment process and will
attempt to assign the soldier to an area where the needs of the family
member can be met Special Needs Accommodation Process meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Family Outreach Center from 1400-1700. On the fourth Tuesday of each month we host a Parent Information Exchange at the Family Outreach Center. The Exchange begins at 1000. If you have question or concerns
about the EFMP at Fort Gordon you can
contact us at (706) 791-4872/3579, DSN 780-4872/3579. To obtain enrollment information contact the Family Medicine Clinic in Room 110 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
