Full of apple pie and custard.
@vanderwal at Yahoo we always used 'queen' (Monarch, band, location, university). Also 'madonna'.
@danrubin there is a better way: http://freshmeat.net/projec... we moved about 4GB of mail that way.
Your momma so fat she INSERT INTO MOUTH SELECT * FROM PIES with no WHERE clause. #sqlputdowns
@kapowaz you should possibly get that looked at. Sounds like more than a light burn. (ouch!)
Words I am thankful that I never have to spell: inauguration. (@drinkerthinker)
@redheat Classic ASP actually has one thing going for it - it's a dead language like Latin. You don't discover any new bugs with ASP.
@nathanpitman never tried CI. We have our own web app framework for anything new we build.
@redheat I would never use Symfony, ever. The misery that thing caused me at Yahoo is still etched on my consciousness.
Has ordered curry. CakePHP drove us to it.
@Brilliantcrank I seek only the truth:- that there is no spoon.
@redheat haven't used CodeIgniter. Have worked with Rails and Symfony.
@jverdi mostly inefficiencies - it's treating db reads like they're free. Can probably be refined, but the default behaviour is dangerous.
If what I've seen of CakePHP this week is representative, my word, it should be avoided.
@MelKirk There's a good Laura Ashley outlet shop here http://www.thebishopcentre.... (Habitat too)
Can anyone recommend a good vocal reduction processor for the Mac? Need to dip the main vox on a track as much as possible.
@matijs don't recall finding a solution. Today I'd use conditional comments and serve a different width to IE.
@peterc Been using it since 2005 no trouble. Only thing is the MBP doesn't put out enough power on FW so it needs the supplied PSU.
@peterc I use a Focusrite Saffire for FW I/O. I think there's a newer model. Focusrite have been good with their software updates for Mac.
