Purpose
To collect geophysical and chemical measurements that quantify lateral
and temporal energy, fluid, and gas fluxes at gas hydrate sites in Gulf of
Mexico lease blocks Green Canyon 185 and Garden Banks 425. USGS participation
is to help operate the Georgia Tech EdgeTech SB512 deep-tow chirp profiling
system and to produce trackline maps and some data management at sea.
Notes
Navigation Techniques: DGPS, Dynamic Positioning
