WALKER INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL is a DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS)school. DDESS is a division of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), serving the dependents of military men and women. We are located on Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Hours of Operation

Faculty hours: 0800 hrs to 1530 hrs, Monday through Friday when school is in session.

Student hours: 0830 hrs to 1515 hrs, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; 0830 hrs to 1400 hrs, Wednesday.

Building hours: 0730 hrs to 1600hrs, Monday through Friday. The building opens for students at 0800 hours on school days.
