Functional Description |
ACES supports both the TANF program and the State Family Assistance (SFA)
program. SFA is mainly used to pay state funded TANF-like payments to legal
aliens not eligible under the federal TANF rules. Users screen in new cases
and can schedule appointments. All intake eligibility is determined in ACES as well as on-going eligibility determinations. ACES supports eligibility
determinations via on-line changes as well as overnight automated case
maintenance. ACES issues payments via EBT, EFT or warrant, creates alerts
for the users, pulls the QA samples, creates letters, creates reports and interfaces with several other systems. Screeing (intake), letters, and inquiry functionality have been moved into a web-based platform. |
