Functional Description |
The Child Support Enforcement Program is operated in Arkansas by the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) in the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. OCSE has a staff of about 750.
This includes investigators, accountants, attorneys, and other support personnel, who help establish and enforce orders to collect child support. Arkansas OCSE administers approximately 180,000 cases and collects about $200 million annually. OCSE has four geographic areas, with a total of 30 offices.
The mission-critical functions are to provide our clients with the services of; Case Initiation, Locating the non-custodial parent, Establishment of paternity and child support orders, and Enforcement and Collection of the child support obligations. The receipting process is an in-house function of the Arkansas SDU. |
