A Compendium of NORA Research Projects and Impacts, 1996-2005
The Compendium of NORA Research Projects and Impacts contains over 400 brief descriptions from researchers who responded concerning their research projects identified as NORA from 1996-2005. The 188 extramural projects (out of 353 identified as NORA), 292 intramural projects, and two cooperative agreements illustrate the impressive range and high quality of research that continues to result from these national partnerships. Many projects involved work in more than one priority area, but each was assigned to a primary priority area.
It takes the collaboration of many parties, including labor, industry, academia, private organizations and government to maximize the return on research investment. By providing brief project summaries and contact information, we hope this document will provide a tool to improve networking among researchers, foster communication between researchers and end-users, and stimulate thinking on new research ideas and new ways to highlight impact. We all share the same goal: the protection, preservation and improvement of the health of people who work.
A basic search can be performed below. An Advanced Search allows specification of priority area, the year a project was active, lead researcher, investigator, partner and other criteria.
