Student Council

The Walker Student Council is very active with a myriad of activities: from responsibility of morning announcements to arranging fun days, and community service projects. Each classroom elects a Classroom Senator to represent them. The Student Council members also act as student representatives on the School Improvement Plan Committee.

In addition Officers are elected from the student body at large, after a vigorous campaign that includes speech-giving assembly and putting up posters. The local League of Voters supplies Walker Students an actual voting machine in which each Walker Student casts their vote for Student Council officers.
