The work consists of construction of a new bridge with precast, prestressed concrete deck units and steel guardrail; steel H-piling; cast-in-place reinforced concrete caps and wingwalls; roadway realignment and fill; asphalt surfacing; removal of existing bridge and roadway approaches and disposal of debris therefrom; channel excavation and placement of filter material and riprap; construction of field access ramp and roadside ditches; placement of barricades and signs; seeding; and environmental protection. There will be fifteen (15) drawings. The estimated cost of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This will be a service disabled veteran owned small business set-aside. Offers are solicited only from service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns shall not be considered. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $31.0 million.
