Synopsis
This project is for the installation of approximately 2.7 miles of 42 inch and 48 inch sewage gravity flow interceptor between the Ross Road Waste Water Treatment Plant and College Road, located near Hernando in Desoto County, Mississippi. Work on interceptor will consist of clearing and grubbing, excavation of trenches, dewatering, installation of sewage gravity flow interceptor pipe, backfilling and compaction of trenches, and seeding and fertilization of disturbed areas. Other work, to be located at the Ross Road Waste Water Treatment Plant, will require the construction of an effluent metering manhole, a metering structure, and a diversion structure. Electrical work will include the installation of 2 variable frequency drives for two existing 35 horsepower pump motors, and all associated conduit and cables. The estimated cost of this work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. There will be twenty-two (22) drawings. This will be an unrestricted procurement with Price Evaluation for HuBZone small business concerns. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding 28.5 million. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS 237110 and SIC Code 1629. Bid Opening for this solicitation will be on 29 January 2004
