The Child Support Enforcement Program Medical Support Final Rule, published in the Federal Register on July 21, 2008 (73 FR 42416), prescribes requirements for the Child Support Enforcement Program to address medical support coverage in IV-D cases.

AT-08-07, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for Computerized Tribal IV-D Systems and Office Automation and consultations on the NPRM

This proposed rule would enable Tribes and Tribal organizations currently operating a comprehensive Tribal Child Support Enforcement program under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act (the Act) to apply for and receive direct Federal funding for the costs of automated data processing.

AT-08-03, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for State Systems Advance Planning Document (APD) Process

The Advance Planning Document (APD) process governs the procedure by which States obtain approval for Federal financial participation in the cost of acquiring automated data processing equipment and services. This NPRM reduces the submission requirements for lower-risk information technology (IT) projects and procurements and increases oversight over higher-risk IT projects and procurements by making technical changes, conforming changes and substantive revisions in the documentation required to be submitted by States, counties, and territories for approval of their Information Technology plans and acquisition documents.

The last set of standard interstate CSE forms was distributed via OCSE-AT-0503. In addition to publishing the required 60-day notice in the Federal Register on June 21, 2007 in Volume 72, Number 119 on pages 34252-34253, we solicited commnts from the CSE community to provide suggestions for form revisions via DCL-07-19.

AT-08-01, Revision of the Title IV-D State Plan Preprint

Sections 454 and 466 of the Act set forth the requirements for State plans and required State laws and procedures for the Child Support Enforcement program. Title VII of the DRA made a number of amendments to sections 452, 454 and 466 of the Act, which are reflected in the State plan and require States to either establish new or modify existing laws or procedures.
