NCCIC State Technical Assistance Specialists

The NCCIC State TA Specialists are located throughout the country, organized by Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Regions (see list below). The NCCIC State TA Specialists work closely with ACF Regional Office staff to support the work of the State Child Care Administrators.

The principal activities of the NCCIC State TA specialists are to:

  1. Coordinate with the ACF Regional Offices concerning the needs of the States;
  2. Provide and/or coordinate on-site and other forms of technical support to States upon request of the States and the ACF Regional Offices;
  3. Develop and facilitate peer linkages between States;
  4. Develop linkage strategies with other State-level programs across States;
  5. Collect information and resources for the NCCIC library and databases;
  6. Support and attend ACF Regional meetings;
  7. Provide administrative support to ACF Regional Offices in the management of Tribal construction/renovation applications; and
  8. Attend bi-annual meetings of the Child Care Bureau's Child Care Technical Assistance Network.
