Techniques for Effective Management of Program Operations (TEMPO) monograph on statistical sampling for self-assessment. States are required to perform annual self-assessments of their child support program and the TEMPO is designed to provide technical assistance to determine what child support cases should make up the population from which the self-assessment sample should be selected.

The State of Colorado was awarded a supplement to its Model Office Demonstration Project by the Office of Child Support Enforcement. The purpose of the supplement was to develop and test an intervention aimed at helping fathers become more financially and emotionally involved in the lives of their children.
