Dear Colleague:

In July 1993, the Office of Child Support (OCSE) published and distributed the "Directory of Genetic Testing Laboratories" (IM-93-04) to all States. The Directory is an important source of information for the nation’s child support enforcement community.

Plans are underway to publish a revised edition of this Directory. We are requesting your assistance in this effort. We have enclosed a copy of the 1993 Directory. Please review and update the pages pertaining to your State. Please provide current information in the same format as the enclosure. In addition, please provide a contact person with address and phone number at the State and/or county level. We are seeking information on laboratories operating in or doing business with your State, including laboratories that may provide service to and/or contract with only one or more counties. Please indicate whether the laboratory has a statewide contract or whether the contract is with individual counties and list the counties.
