Picture This: Goop Joe's Poultry Pages
November 28, 2006

During the press preview for our Joseph Cornell exhibition I kept seeing people smiling and laughing while looking at the objects in one particular case.

It contains pages from Goop Joe's Poultry Pages, a delightful mashup that Cornell made for his sister and her husband, poultry farmers on Long Island. Goop Joe was Cornell's childhood nickname, and looking at these works reminded me of the fun I had doing stuff like this with my sisters when we were little. Joseph Cornell: Navigating the Imagination runs through February 19, 2007.
