How long have you worked for the Corps? Eight years
In your own words, what is your job? What do you do? I coordinate the overall Division support of HQUSACE strategic planning initiatives and facilitate the formulation of plans and policies to support the USACE Campaign Plan. I also work closely with SWD corporate staff and HQUSACE, in order to communicate SWD strategic goals and objectives.
How do you see your job making a difference and contributing to the Corps’ success? Without strategic planning processes and forward thinking, our organization would be racing in all directions. The integration of strategic planning into our mission focused culture is crucial to ensuring the future success of the Corps of Engineers.
What do you love about your job? The challenge of thinking / planning strategically in a mission-focused environment.
Any special moments/memories about your job you’d like to share? Developing our regional strategic plans where there had been no organization for the effort.
