The City of Roseville in partnership with Sims Recycling Solutions and NEC Electronics America will be accepting and collecting electronic waste on Saturday, Jan. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 7501 Foothills Blvd. in Roseville.
Any proceeds will be donated to the IDEAscape, a planned outdoor extension of the Utility Exploration located between the Martha Riley Community Library and Kaseburg Creek, construction is set to begin in late 2010.

After numerous public forums that provided input from residents, business owners, property owners and developers, the Roseville Planning and Redevelopment Department is pleased to announce that draft copies of the Downtown Specific Plan, Downtown Code and Draft Environmental Impact Report have been completed and are available for public review.

Grant guidelines and application forms for the City’s three grant programs are now available. Completed applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in the City Manager’s Office, Civic Center, 311 Vernon St., Roseville, CA, 95678.

We are at the beginning of the winter season and we hope for ample rainfall and dense snow pack to sustain us through 2009. However, we are still under a Stage 1 Water Conservation Level. The City of Roseville will know in late February/early March, when we receive word from the US Bureau of Reclamation, if we can remove this condition, if we need to maintain it, or if we need to declare a further drought condition.
