Thank you for your interest in an internship with my office. My offices need interns who are hard-working, independent and resourceful team-players. There are opportunities for both Congressional Internships and Legal Internships in my Washington, D.C. and state offices.
If you are an undergraduate student or a law student, I encourage you to consider a Congressional or Legal Internship with my office! While I did not intern in Congress during my college years, I was an active member of the 4-H and the Future Farmers of America (FFA), and credit these as important experiences in my life. As a State President and National Officer in FFA, I learned many of the important leadership skills I now use as your Senator. I am glad that I am now able to provide a similar life-changing experience to youth in Kansas by offering the opportunity to work in one of my offices as an intern.
If you are in law school, you may apply to my office for a Legal Internship to work for me in my role as the Chairman of the Constitution, Civil Rights and Property Rights Subcommittee of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
